Psalm 37:29

29 The righteous [tsaddiyq] shall inherit [yarash] the land ['erets], and dwell [shakan] therein for ever [`ad].   KJV-Interlinear

29 The righteous shall inherit the land and dwell upon it forever.   ESV

In the traditional sense, an heir is a family member who legally receives ownership of property transferred to him from a deceased parent. There are instances when a parent will transfer ownership of property to his children before he dies. Both scenarios are legitimate inheritance functions.

To be an heir, one has to be a family member. And the word righteous, identifies family of God.

Anyone who believes in Christ, becomes a member of Gods family, and therefore becomes a legitimate heir.

Also in the traditional sense, the firstborn, which is typically the first born son, received a double portion of the inheritance. And using that concept, there will be differences in the degree of inheritance that various believers will receive.

Spiritual growth, is the determining factor as to the nature and degree of one’s inheritance.

In Christ, there is neither male nor female recognition. We are all family of Christ. However, not everyone pursues their spiritual life, and therefore, not everyone advances to spiritual maturity.

It is one’s own decision to pursue spiritual growth or not pursue spiritual growth, that determines how far a person will grow up spiritually. That should be obvious.

But suffice to say, we have a verse that states that God has set forth a plan, whereby all believers in Christ, which means all Christians, will be heirs for all eternity. That means all people who refuse to believe in Christ, will not be heirs. They are not family of God.

If you have been following along in our current studies in Psalms, Romans, and Isaiah, then you know, or should know that the Psalms study describes the tremendous blessings that come from God, to those who belong to God. The Romans study describes the legitimate terms of salvation. And the Isaiah study describes how history is going to unfold.

To ignore the study of the Bible, would be the fool’s biggest error, because history is going to unfold in a certain fashion, and destiny has already been established. One has only to listen and learn, in order to become a part of the most phenomenal life and future in existence.

These studies are a part of the massive daily study web site at DailyBibeStudy.Org, and are written, so that you can come to Christ if you have not done so already, and therefore not be lost forever.

And if you have already believed in Christ, then these studies are written so you can learn and understand and grow in your spiritual life, so that you can come to the full knowledge of Christ, so that you can fulfill your meaning and purpose in life as God intended for you, and so you can qualify for a phenomenal eternal reward which you will have forever.  To ignore this opportunity to pursue a daily study means you will be incomplete, unfulfilled and you will lose out, big time.

The Daily Bible Study is online, making it possible as never before in all of human history, to advance in ones relationship with God, through Christ, and to complete yourself beyond your imagination.

But you have to decide to make that commitment.  No one else can study for you.  You have to do that yourself.
