Psalm 37:10

Psalm 37:10

10 For yet a little while [m@`at], and the wicked [rasha`] shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider [biyn] his place [maqowm], and it shall not be.   KJV-Interlinear

10 In just a little while, the wicked will be no more; though you look carefully at his place, he will not be there.   ESV

We learn by being taught and we are taught only if we want to learn.  Choose your life and choose it carefully.  For the wrong decisions will get you nothing and even worse than nothing.  But how do you choose, how do you learn to choose?  And the answer is right in front of you if you are reading this study.

Those who refuse to learn, or do not want to learn, or presume that they do not need to learn, are going to lose.

And here is their destiny.  They will end.

Not only will the person who rejects truth, come to their end, but the entire history of negative humanity will one day come to an end.

Remember that there is a very broad range of wickedness, ranging from the self-righteous fool who pretends, to the hard core criminal.  In either case, they all refuse to place themselves under the instruction of truth.

And when it is all said and done, their time is short.

Compare the history of humanity or of this universe.

Some place history in the billions of years, some place the history in the thousands of years.  You can choose whatever you want to believe.

But the hard fact is, that your life is nothing, even if you live to be a hundred years old, when compared to any timetable of history.

Before you were born, you did not exist, and you had nothing say about anything.

After you are born then you face the inevitable end of your life.

Without doctrine in your soul then you have nothing to look forward to, and you face that end with fear.

With doctrine in your soul then you have a positive destiny to look to, and that is comforting.

But there is far more than just looking to the end of your life, there is the anticipation of what is beyond.

Without doctrine in your soul, then your eternity is bleak and empty, or no reward at best.

With doctrine learned because you have decided to dedicate yourself to hitching up with a study, and learning from instruction, then your eternity is phenomenal and beyond imagination.

But in either case, you have only this life to decide.  And in this life, you do not know when your number is going to be called.

So, decide now, while you have the chance.  And decide for an education in Bible doctrine.

Because once your time is up, then it is up and there are no do-overs.
