Isaiah
29:15
15 Woe [howy] unto them that seek
deep [`amaq] to hide [cathar] their counsel [`etsah] from
the LORD [Y@hovah], and their works [ma`aseh] are in the dark [machshak],
and they say ['amar], Who seeth [ra'ah] us? and who knoweth [yada`]
us? KJV-Interlinear
15 Ah, you who hide deep from the
LORD your counsel, whose deeds are in the dark, and who say, “Who sees us? Who
knows us?” ESV
It is easy to conceal ones real intentions, from
people, but you cannot conceal your thoughts and intents from God. And unfortunately people who attempt to do
this, somehow do not realize that fooling people makes no difference, because
people cannot bring blessings or destiny or fulfillment into ones life. Only God can do that. So, what is the point?
But then again, when one lacks Bible doctrine in the
soul, there is no clarity of thought, so the reasoning is foggy and distorted,
and the logic is confused.
The character of the hypocrite is to think one thing
and portray another.
Some do this openly, through an anti-God or
anti-Christian attitude. They are simply
defiant and hate Christianity, in preference for whatever it is that they
believe.
Some do this by indifference. They simply do not
believe, they simply do not care, they are simply not interested in the
spiritual realm, and probably believe that it is all a bunch of nonsense.
And then there is the crowd that promotes spiritual
rhetoric, but they do not comply with Gods mandates. They are simply spiritually lazy. They are not interested in learning or being
taught. They prefer to believe whatever
it is that they currently believe, and anything that contradicts what they
believe, they call that false.
But also, they do not want to comply with Gods
mandates, which is again, a laziness, because they do not want to change, or
make the effort to learn and realize that they are wrong.
So, among the defiant, the indifferent, and the lazy, they
all have the same thing in common. They
do not believe, or they do not care, that people can see their true nature, therefore,
God must not see them either.
They believe that they have an independence in this
world, because God gave them free will and the right to make their own
decisions. But what they do not realize,
is that their choices are in fact a fraud.
They are not making free choices based on truth, they are making their
free choices based on deception.
They think they are fooling people, and therefore God,
and therefore will cheat destiny, but in fact they are fooling themselves, and
therefore are not going to cheat destiny, but will end up facing the
repercussions of their choices.
Choices made in lies, are your right to make, but
there will come a time when you will be called forward and be confronted for
your transgressions.
If that transgression is the rejection of Christ, then
so be it. He will relieve you of any
relationship with Him and send you away to a place where He is not. That place being the Lake of Fire.
If you have believed in Christ, then your destiny will
be heaven, certainly, but without reward, and the loss of eternal reward is a huge
loss.
And remember that reward comes in many forms. It is not limited to wealth, but can extend
to abilities, talents, intellects, position, status, rank, and every possible thing
that you can think of and more. So,
losing all access to those things, is a huge loss.
So, trying to fool God, cannot be done. Fooling people makes no difference and will have
no impact on your own spiritual life or lack of it.
God is the one to be impressed, and God is impressed
when His word, is in your soul. And when
your soul is constructed with His word, and finished with your use of His word,
and your production is by means of His word, and it is all accomplished by
means of His spiritual process, not yours.
