And while people think they are smart and wise, and
even boast of their beliefs, even to the point of belligerently attacking
others, Isaiah points out that God too, is wise ….
Judah is seeking help from Egypt, instead of seeking
help from God. And Isaiah points out that the help that they need, comes not
from this world, but from heaven above ….
The last
enticement that is presented in the series, comes in the form of casting lots.
The word for a lot, gowral, implies an inheritance for the potential for more
gain ……
God is the sovereign power and authority over all of
creation and beyond. In order to exist within creation, you have to have a
relationship with God. Without God, nothing exists. Without a relationship with
God, you cannot exist within the realm of God. Therefore, you need some
mechanism for establishing a relationship with God in order to live eternally
with Him. Without that relationship, you will live in an existence without God,
which we commonly call the Lake of Fire. Therefore, salvation is required in
order to establish a relationship with God

People are incapable of understanding spiritual
concepts, especially when they have a weak or modest desire and low motivation
for learning spiritual concepts. Therefore, in order to overcome this self-imposed
handicap, parables or illustrations which are drawn from common day-to-day
life, are used in order to teach spiritual concepts …..
The description of
the lonely victim intensifies, as he has been describing his openness to Gods
inspection, and yet those who are closest to him ……
