Psalm 38:8

Psalm 38:8

8 I am feeble [puwg] and sore [ma`od] broken [dakah]: I have roared [sha'ag] by reason of the disquietness [nahamah] of my heart [leb].   KJV-Interlinear

8 I am feeble and crushed; I groan because of the tumult of my heart.  ESV

This Psalm continues to describe the anguish of the body and mind, to the completeness of the physical and emotional distress that is caused by the sin nature within us.

Feeble, refers to the feeling of coldness, or without warmth, being chilled.

Broken, means to break in pieces, to be small, to crush, and is typically used to indicate a broken spirit as in crushed by pain or sorrow.

Roared, refers to crying out in helpless anguish because of the suffering.

Disquietness, refers to the tears of groaning or crying, and represents the deeper emotional groanings of the heart.

By ignoring or remaining indifferent toward ones spiritual life, the sin nature overwhelms the body and mind with emotional and physical stresses and anguish, for which there is no human solution.

One of the many reasons for pursuing spiritual growth, and living within the spiritual sphere, is to avoid these conditions which are described.

It matters not whether you are wealthy or poor, talented or plain, the sin nature controls and eventually destroys everyone equally, and without bias.

And even though we are trapped within these physical bodies during this life, the resource of a daily Bible study, and the spiritual life, mitigate the effects that the sin nature has on ones life.

To avoid or ignore your spiritual life, is a fool’s choice.

To pursue, and enjoy the benefits of the spiritual life, is one of the simplest things that a person can do.

These studies are a part of the massive daily study web site at DailyBibeStudy.Org, and are written, so that you can come to Christ if you have not done so already, and therefore not be lost forever.

And if you have already believed in Christ, then these studies are written so you can learn and understand and grow in your spiritual life, so that you can come to the full knowledge of Christ, so that you can fulfill your meaning and purpose in life as God intended for you, and so you can qualify for a phenomenal eternal reward which you will have forever.  To ignore this opportunity to pursue a daily study means you will be incomplete, unfulfilled and you will lose out, big time.

The Daily Bible Study is online, making it possible as never before in all of human history, to advance in ones relationship with God, through Christ, and to complete yourself beyond your imagination.

But you have to decide to make that commitment.  No one else can study for you.  You have to do that yourself.
