Isaiah
32:4
4 The heart [lebab] also of the rash
[mahar] shall understand
[biyn] knowledge [da`ath], and the tongue [lashown] of the stammerers [`illeg] shall be ready [mahar] to speak [dabar] plainly [tsach]. KJV-Interlinear
4 The heart of the hasty will understand and
know, and the tongue of the stammerers will hasten to speak distinctly. ESV
The hasty and the
stammerers, refers to people who rush to judgment, and do not take time to
deliberate or think through a problem. Stammerers is a description of those who
have indistinct or confused views on subjects, or about life in general, and
therefore are incapable of expressing clear or intelligible views related to
truth.
When Bible
doctrine is absent from the soul, a person will have a tendency to be hasty in
their decisions, and incapable of seeing and hearing and understanding and
discerning life in general.
Lack of Bible
doctrine leads to confused thought processes.
Lack of Bible
doctrine leads to false interpretations, and therefore false conclusions,
regarding the details of life.
But when a person
pursues Bible doctrine and learns truth, then and only then, will they be able
to understand knowledge, and be able to express themselves with clear and
intelligent views, based on truth.
