Ephesians 1:6

Ephesians 1:6

6 To [eis] the praise [epainos] of the glory [doxa] of his [autos] grace, [charis] wherein [en] [hos] he hath made [charitoo] us [hemas] accepted [charitoo] in [en] the beloved. [agapao]KJV-Interlinear

6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. NASB

Man has no right to complain about his circumstances.  Without God, man would not even exist.

All of the happiness that you can or ever will have, originates from God, and from no other source.

No person has a claim on life.  Life itself is a gift from God.  He designed it.  He created it.  He maintains it.  God sustains it.

All that is good, comes from God and from no other source.  All that is bad, comes from Satan and man perpetuates the bad through his negative volition toward God.

Without God, none of us would ever exist.  No existence means no life, no happiness, no plan, no purpose, and certainly no destiny.

In eternity past, God, who is the source of good, set out a plan by which created man can share in that good, which are all of collective blessings that originate from God.  All that you have now, which is wonderful in life and in your experiences, would not even exist were it not for Gods foreknowledge looking down through time, allowing Him to come up with a plan.  A plan which was conceived in eternity past and of which still exists today, without modification.

The result of that plan, for those who pursue it, is a phenomenal life and future, which none of us have yet to experience, but we have seen small examples of the wonderful possibilities from life in this world.  We have seen foods, and sounds and pleasures, and wealth beyond dreams in this life, and this life is but a shadow of that which is to come.  So we are not without hints that can fill up our imaginations.

And, given that there is a great deal of sorrow and many burdens in this world, then the prospects of a far better future, should be even more appealing, and the target of our even greater gratitude.

God is the source of our life and all good things we possess.  God is the source of our future potential.  God is the source of the overall divine plan.  And therefore, God is due praise, acclaim, applause, admiration, appreciation, more so than anything or anyone else.

Making us acceptable, means in the sphere of His grace or favor.

In the beloved, ‘agapao,’ means truth.  There are no lies, no falsities, no pretensions, nothing unfair in God.  God does not have any double standards, but treats everyone exactly the same.  God gives everyone exactly the same opportunity to acquire for themselves, His matchless grace and blessing.  And in that, there is no other source, even from this world, that can match that.

Without God, you would be nothing and have nothing.  Do not confuse Gods grace and plan with your imagined effort or ingenuity, for those too, came from God.
