Psalm 11:4
4 The LORD [Yahovah] is in his holy [qodesh] temple, [heykal] the LORD'S [Yahovah] throne [kicce'] is in heaven: [shamayim] his eyes [`ayin] behold, [chazah] his eyelids [`aph`aph] try, [bachan] the children [ben] of men. ['adam] KJV-Interlinear
4 The Lord is in His holy temple; the Lord's throne is in heaven; His eyes behold, His eyelids test the sons of men. NASB
The residence, the temple of God, is in holiness. Holiness is the combination of righteousness and justice.
Righteousness is the state of sinless perfection. Any and all sin is anti-truth, and therefore evil and filth (not clean).
Justice is the mechanism of making things right, cleansed, washed as in the cleansing away of all filth. Justice is the process of fair judgment and cleansing.
As with some religions where their gods seek revenge or pursue lusts, or practice policies of enticements, God, the one true and real God, does not have this policy blended with evil.
Gods throne is in heaven. Heaven is the residence and ultimate end destination for happiness and the completion of ones life.
The throne is the seat of power and sovereignty. God rules. God rules from Heaven. God is the ultimate sovereign over all that is. God controls history. God controls the ultimate outcome of history. God controls the ultimate outcome of your life.
God is omniscient. His eyes see all things. There is nothing that God does not see. There is nothing that God cannot see. God does not miss anything in history. God will not miss anything in your life.
And finally Gods eyelids test.
The closed eyelids portray patient thought and wise decision making.
God has all of the facts. Gods knows your past, present, and very important, your future. Even you do not know your own future.
God is patient, all knowing and absolutely fair. God placed you in this life, in this world so as to maximize your life. Only you, can botch that up with disinterest in your own spiritual life.
The angels started out their existence in perfect harmony, and then they fell into sin, something of which they had no prior knowledge or examples.
Man is born in sin, and is given his own life to establish a pattern of life of his own choosing, during the course of his life. And along the way, God tests each and every individual to prove the level of their commitment to their chosen pattern of life.
For those who reject doctrine or for those who are weak in doctrine, then their choice is clear and they fail.
For those who are moderately positive in doctrine, they will sooner or later lean in the direction of truth or away from it. The pressure from the tests of life will cause them to go one way or the other.
For those who are strong in doctrine, then the tests of life will prove to make them even stronger in their faith.
So, for whatever your choices are in life, when the end of your life arrives, then your pattern of life through all of your daily choices, will be clear, and Gods judgment for or against you will also be totally fair.
