Revelation 21:5

5 And [kai] he that sat [kathemai] upon [epi] the throne [thronos] said, [epo] Behold, [idou] I make [poieo] all things [pas] new. [kainos] And [kai] he said [lego] unto me, [moi] Write: [grapho] for [hoti] these [houtos] words [logos] are [eisi] true [alethinos] and [kai] faithful. [pistos] KJV-Interlinear

5 And He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." And He said, "Write, for these words are faithful and true."   NASB

He who sits on the throne is the Lord Jesus Christ.  It is from Him that all things are judged, and from Him that all things will be destroyed.

New, ‘kainos,’ means fresh, not a repeat of something from before, not another of the same kind.  New means unique, never before seen or known.

And so, the new universe will be totally new and different. On this description, you can let your imagination run wild, from new and different kinds of animals or plants, to different functions of dimensions, to maybe even no more planets or moons or such, to nearly anything you can imagine.  But remember that the new universe will be beyond our imagination, so whatever you think, you will most likely not even be close to describing what is ahead.

John is instructed to write, and this time Christ Himself is telling him to write these things, because they are true.

Now, humanity did not begin by accident.  Humanity is not on some arbitrary course of his own choosing.  Humanity does not have a destiny of his own invention, nor going to be let alone and held unaccountable for his own actions.  Humanity will never be successful in pursuing any aspect of social reforms or programs, or anything else that humanity pursues.

Why?  Because God is truth, and when truth is rejected, then only lies remain. One cannot define truth on the fly.  Man cannot pretend his beliefs are truth, and presume that he will be successful.

No matter what technology exists today, or what technology will exist tomorrow, these likewise will never solve mans problems, namely sin or death.

And furthermore, mans history has already been pre-recorded, and that, history, though even known by all who read it, will not lead to any change in mans behavior that will avoid it.  The history recorded in this book will occur, but not because God says it will, but because man will follow that path, even knowing that it is there.

Likewise, your life will be what it will be, even though you know that you have two choices for a future before you.  You can choose to confess regularly and live in fellowship, and study daily and learn and grow and have a great life complete with beyond imagination blessings and reward, or you can be like most people, even knowing what you just read, and ignore God and doctrine and end up with no blessings, no reward, zip.

So, humanity has a choice, and will choose wrong, and will end up destroying itself.

You too, have a choice, but will you choose wrong, or will you choose right?  These words are true.  The entire Bible is true.  When will you figure that out, is the big question.

God puts together all of the details of our lives, but our choices determine which details will be included or excluded.
