Psalm 34:3

3 O magnify [gadal] the LORD [Yahovah] with me, and let us exalt [ruwm] his name [shem] together [yachad].   KJV-Interlinear

3 Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together!   ESV

Throughout the world and throughout history, there is one common thread that runs through all of us, regardless of our circumstances or culture or background in life, and that common thread that connects us all is our relationship with God through Christ, by means of the doctrine that we have learned, contained within our respective souls, that has given us spiritual growth, understanding, and the capacity to appreciate it all.

And with that, David states here, magnify with me.

Magnify, ‘gadal,’ means to make great, to make great in the view of ones own mind, or to recognize greatness based on ones knowledge of the object that is being designated as great.

With me, indicates that common knowledge or thread that connects us all, when we all have doctrine within our souls.

To exhalt, ‘ruwm,’ means to make high, to make lofty, to extol, to raise up, to lift up, and it is Christ who is being lifted up by means of doctrine.

For it is through doctrine that we know God, and Christ, and all of reality, that is reality.  Without doctrine we cannot know anything.  Therefore it is the doctrine resident within our souls, that brings us all together.

And together, ‘yachad,’ means to form a union, to be united, to be together.

Therefore it is not culture, not color, not race, not nationality, not even being human, nothing common to this world that brings humanity together.  Actually it is all of those things that separate us and promote bias and prejudice.

But it is doctrine resident within the soul that truly brings people together.

But obviously you have to know doctrine, have to learn doctrine , have to understand doctrine, and have some semblance of spiritual savvy, before you will be one with anyone.

Doctrine formed within you first, brings God into your life, people into your life, and yourself into your own life, in order to tie it all together.
