Psalm 19:4
4 Their line [qav] is gone out [yatsa'] through all the earth, ['erets] and their words [millah] to
the end [qatseh] of the world. [tebel] In them hath he set [suwm]
a tabernacle ['ohel] for the sun, [shemesh] KJV-Interlinear
4 Their
line has gone out through all the earth, And their utterances to the end of the
world. In them He has placed a tent for the sun, NASB
Lines, ‘qav,’ means a
measuring line, a rule, to collect together, to bind, to fasten, also a string
of a musical instrument.
Words, ‘millah,’ means a
discourse, a matter, a topic, a message, an instruction, to speak, to communicate.
Tabernacle, ‘ohel,’ is a
reference to a home, a dwelling place, an established position.
And so the heavens, the
sun and moon and stars, all of which are prominent and visible from all points
on the planet, have been placed there for a purpose.
They were placed in
positions that were measured and pre-determined. They hold their positions and course in a
manner that was designed for them. So
much so that through all of these many thousands of years of human history,
accurate calendars, and accurate seasons can be measured and predicted with
great accuracy, even with the most old-fashioned or ancient methods.
But these heavenly bodies
also make music. They sing a song of
divine placement and design. And in
that, they communicate in the simplest of terms, the wisdom of God, the design
of God, the very existence of God.
The tabernacle is their
home. The sun has its place. The moon has its place. The stars have their places.
And by means of inference
we, each one of us as human beings, have our specific place, not only in
history, but in our individual lives.
God has a plan. God has a purpose. And it is necessary for you to see that plan
and purpose for yourself, in order to advance in your life, in your spiritual
life and fulfill your destiny as God intends.
And more important, Gods
plan and purpose are singing instruction to you every day and every night, and
they are right in front of you every minute of your entire life. You just have to learn to see it, then
recognize it, then accept it, then adopt Gods plan for your life and apply it
to your life.
