Ephesians 5:13
13 But [de] all things [pas] that are reproved [elegcho]
are made manifest [phaneroo] by [hupo] the light: [phos] for [gar] whatsoever [pas] doth make
manifest [phaneroo] is [esti] light. [phos] KJV-Interlinear
13 But
all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything
that becomes visible is light. NASB
All things that doctrine
reproves, admonished, declared false or wrong or evil, are done so by means of
truth (light).
Bad things never reveal
bad things. Bad things are always
revealed by truth. Truth is the
substance or source of making all things visible, discernible, revealed,
obvious. One cannot see in the dark.
You need light in order
to see. You need perceptive abilities, whether your eyes, your mind, your hands
and so forth, in order to figure something out, or to identify something, or to
be able to distinguish one thing from another.
And truth is the foundation and source for figuring out life, for
figuring out reality.
Otherwise you walk in the
dark, disoriented, under some delusion and will never get things straight.
That is why there is so
much religion full of disinformation out there.
People simply lack truth, so they cannot discover the lies. Unbelievers
who pursue lies fool only themselves and will never be able to recognize the
truth.
Believers who pursue lies
fool only themselves and will never be able to recognize the truth.
It takes truth in order
to discover truth. And you must study
truth in order to learn truth.
Residing in lies will never
reveal truth. Resisting Gods mandates,
resisting your daily study leaves you in the dark.
