Revelation 21:13

13 On [apo] the east [anatole] three [treis] gates; [pulon] on [apo] the north [borrhas] three [treis] gates; [pulon] on [apo] the south [notos] three [treis] gates; [pulon] and [kai] on [apo] the west [dusme] three [treis] gates. [pulon] KJV-Interlinear

13 There were three gates on the east and three gates on the north and three gates on the south and three gates on the west.  NASB

Back in Moses day, when the Israelites camped, the tribes were arranged in a specific way.

Of the twelve tribes, three were camped on the east side, namely Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun.
And on the north side were Dan, Asher, and Naphtali.
On the south side were Reuben, Simeon, and Gad.
On the west side were Ephraim, Manasseh, and Benjamin.
See Numbers 2 and Ezekiel 48 for those details.

The meanings of these twelve names:
On the east
Judah – celebrated, praised
Issachar - he will bring a reward
Zebulun – habitation

On the north
Dan - judge
Asher - happy
Naphtali - my wrestling's of God

On the south
Reuben - behold a son
Simeon – hearing, to hear
Gad - fortune, luck

On the west–
Ephraim (double fruit),
Manasseh (causing to forget)
Joseph - let him add, remover, increaser (the father of Ephraim and Manasseh – they are the double portion)
Benjamin - son of the right hand

On the east is the side of blessing or the side from which blessings flow, namely the Son of God and Savior, in whom the permanent residence is found.
On the north is the side of power and authority, the eternal judge, the source of happiness, the work or wrestling's with which God has accomplished His plan.
On the south is the side of judgment by means of a son, through whom is heard the truth, and the only source of good fortune.
On the west is the result of Gods plan for those who follow it to the letter, double blessings, forgetting or the wiping away of the bad things of the past life (sin and evil), leading to the adding or increasing of good for those who advance to maturity, because of only one person, the Son who sits in the place of honor and authority and glory at the right hand of the Father.

God has a plan, a complete plan. God set His plan into motion in eternity past.  He painted His plan in the form of twelve tribes out in the desert, far from the blessings and hubbub of the world, and again in writing long ago, and has maintained that plan throughout history.

That plan will be continued forever even into the next universe and will remain forever.  Gods plan is permanent, secure, and will never be changed or altered. There is nothing in life, in history or in anything, even in the last dispensation, or in the last tribulation, or in the last judgment, that will change Gods plan.

By believing in Christ, your life and future is secure and will never be lost, not by you, nor by anyone.

And as human emotions and attitudes change like the weather, Gods plan is immutable and will never change.
