Revelation 19:6

6 And [kai] I heard [akouo] as it were [hos] the voice [phone] of a great [polus] multitude, [ochlos] and [kai] as [hos] the voice [phone] of many [polus] waters, [hudor] and [kai] as [hos] the voice [phone] of mighty [ischuros] thunderings, [bronte] saying, [lego] Alleluia: [allelouia] for [hoti] the Lord [kurios] God [theos] omnipotent [pantokrator] reigneth. [basileuo] KJV-Interlinear

6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude and as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty peals of thunder, saying,  "Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns. NASB

Remember that this event of cheering at the victory over evil, will occur at the end of the Tribulation, when all evil has been thoroughly vanquished, Satan has been locked away for 1000 years, and the reign of Christ is about to commence.

John records that result in history, which will bring to a conclusion the second aspect of the wedding ceremony, which imagery has been utilized throughout the Bible.

The marriage ceremony is comprised of, in three parts, the betrothal, the preparation and presentation, and finally the consummation of the marriage.

And all of human history is a picture of that marriage ceremony imagery in its three parts.  We will go into those three parts in greater detail beginning in tomorrow’s study.

But for now, the essence of life, the essence of the self existence of God, which is God, has proclaimed that proper worship is due to Him who has planned and put all of history in its entirety, together, and accomplished that which angels and man cannot accomplish.

Namely the defeat and removal of evil from history, and the establishment of an eternal relationship between all of the redeemed and God.

And eternal, means just that, forever.

What Satan could not accomplish for even one day, over a period of a few thousand years, God will be able to accomplish and maintain for a period of eternity.

Thus the cheers will reach a crescendo, when all of creation will be at the celebration at the end of the Tribulation.

The wedding celebration, in imagery, will last for a period of 1000 years, and then the marriage will finally be consummated and last forever in the new universe.

The marriage concept explains and teaches many principles of doctrine, including but not limited to the faithfulness of God in His promises and the security of man in their salvation being bound to God forever.

Although in humanity, marriage is far from being a stable or perfect relationship between men and women, what with the many pitfalls that the sin nature brings into relationships, but that only points out to the fact that all human relationships are faulty.  Not to mention the many worldly aspects of life, which too, are filled with faults and false expectations.

But with God and with His promises, they are permanent and unchanging, and one can depend on their being there forever, regardless of the circumstances in which a person might find themselves.

However, when theTribulation finally ends, then all of redeemed humanity and all of creation will see clearly the falseness of evil, its defeat, and the truth of Gods promises, and His accomplishments in fulfilling His promises.

And the peals of thunder, the sounds of many waters (ocean waves), and so forth, paint a picture of a deafening roar of applause and cheering celebration by numbers of the people and creatures, that are beyond counting.
