2 Timothy 1:9

9 who has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity, NASB
Who, is a reference to the Lord, who is Jesus Christ.
Has saved, is a reference to the saving work of Christ on the Cross, where the price for salvation was made, and of the Father who planned salvation, and the Spirit who reveals and sustains it all.
The holy calling, is the combination of righteousness and justice of God, which when brought together make holiness. Holiness if the perfect righteousness of God, maintained by the perfect justice which demands that all filth be cleansed away in order to maintain that perfect righteousness, which is the absence of all filth, taint, sin, evil and so forth.
And, God did not bring about salvation by means of anything we have or can do, but by means of His own work.
Mans righteousness is as filthy rags (used and reused filthy menstrual rags), as Isaiah states. And that is as good as mans righteousness can ever get.
And our salvation, our destiny, our purpose was determined and sealed, before time began, and has been a permanent plan for a very long time, even before you or I, or even all of humanity has been in existence.
And, it was all granted and provided through Jesus Christ. Not Allah, not Buddha, not any god or invented deity, or philosophy or accident of nature or history.
There is only one name given to creation by which we may be saved, and that is Jesus Christ.
There is no other philosophy, no other religion, nothing in existence that can match or equate with Christianity, because quite frankly they are all based on lies, whereas Christianity is truth.
There are not multiple access’s to God, not multiple paths to heaven, not any method of self determination by which man can define his own course in life.
There is only one God, one plan, one spiritual life, and they are all through only one person, Jesus Christ.
