Isaiah 33:1

Copyright Ó 2016 J. Neely
Isaiah 33:1

1 Woe [howy] to thee that spoilest [shadad], and thou wast not spoiled [shadad]; and dealest treacherously [bagad], and they dealt not treacherously [bagad] with thee! when thou shalt cease [tamam] to spoil [shadad], thou shalt be spoiled [shadad]; and when thou shalt make an end [nalah] to deal treacherously [bagad], they shall deal treacherously [bagad] with thee.   KJV-Interlinear

1 Ah, you destroyer, who yourself have not been destroyed, you traitor, whom none has betrayed! When you have ceased to destroy, you will be destroyed; and when you have finished betraying, they will betray you. ESV

Criminal and terrorist organizations in our current day, define their cowardly bravery and cowardly courage when they face the unarmed, the helpless, and the innocent.

Throughout the ages empires and nations have risen and fallen, because of their false motivations, because of their lusts for power, because of their deceptions and games that they have played against their would be friends, only to turn on them through lies and violence.

The same principle applies to individuals.

If empires can fail, then how can nations succeed?

If nations can fail, how can individuals succeed?

And so the principle applies universally over all of humanity.

If you practice treachery, the treachery will come back on you.
If you practice deceit, then deceit will come back on you.
If you take that which does not belong to you, then what you have will be taken from you.

Jesus Christ controls history.

Jesus Christ owns all of creation, including all of life.

Satan tried to take something that didn’t belong to him, and he will lose everything.

Believers in Jesus Christ, are members of Gods family, are citizens of God’s nation, and are joint heirs of everything that exists.

Those that advance in their spiritual life, receive greater portions than those who do not advance.

Anyone who does not have a spiritual life, namely unbelievers, has no right to anything that exists, because they are not heirs of God, therefore they have no inheritance.

Christians who do not advance in their spiritual life, squander the very essence of their heritage, and therefore forfeit some or all of their reward portion.

And so the principle remains. Living outside of Gods plan, means that whatever you have, you will lose.

Unbelievers lose everything because they are permanently outside of Gods plan.

Believers that do not advance in their spiritual life are functionally outside of Gods plan, and therefore they will lose reward.

Only believers in Christ, who will advance in their spiritual life to spiritual maturity, will stand to gain everything and far, far more.

Study [by instruction],
to show thyself approved [spiritually mature]
unto God,
a workman [student]
that need not be ashamed [ignorant],
rightly dividing [learning, understanding, discerning]
the word of truth [Bible doctrine].

If you can dream and not make dreams your master,
If you can think and not let thoughts narrow your views,
If you can meet triumph with disaster equally,
If you can learn and see your full meaning and purpose in life,
Then you can believe in Christ, learn Bible doctrine, and grow far beyond the potential that God has prepared for you.

These studies are a part of the massive daily study web site at DailyBibeStudy.Org, and are written, so that you can come to Christ if you have not done so already, and therefore not be lost forever.

And if you have already believed in Christ, then these studies are written so you can learn and understand and grow in your spiritual life, so that you can come to the full knowledge of Christ, so that you can fulfill your meaning and purpose in life as God intended for you, and so you can qualify for a phenomenal eternal reward which you will have forever.

To ignore this opportunity to pursue a daily study means you will be incomplete, unfulfilled and you will lose out, big time.

The Daily Bible Study is online, making it possible as never before in all of human history, to advance in ones relationship with God, through Christ, and to complete yourself beyond your imagination.

But you have to decide to make that commitment.  No one else can study for you.  You have to do that yourself.
