When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears and delivers them out of all
their troubles. ESV
Christianity is
proprietary. Its benefits and privileges
are exclusively available to Christians only and to no one else. Prayer is one of those exclusive privileges.
Of all that you would want
to have in your corner or on your list of friends that you could turn to in
times of need or trouble, God is the one who should be at the very top of your
list.
And indeed, He is always
available to all believers in Christ.
Anyone who has believed
in Christ is referred to as, the righteous.
And while there may be varying degrees of righteousness, namely levels of
spiritual growth, God is available to everyone who confesses their sins and
then calls to Him in Christs name.
It takes no effort at
all, to pray. But of course you have to
pray in accordance with Gods rules for prayer.
But too, those rules are quite simple.
Be a believer in Christ and be in fellowship. That is all the prerequisite that is
required.
Unbelievers have no such
privilege. Their prayers are not heard,
because they are not family of God.
And of all the privileges
that are even possible in this creation, the privilege of calling to God, and
then receiving a response, is the greatest privilege possible in life.
And what is more, God has
given us all a promise that He will deliver us out of all troubles.
This deliverance will be
permanent in the next life, but even in this life, there will be degrees of
deliverance and degrees of solutions that will come into our life.
This is the devils world
and by default, trouble and problems and stresses and so forth, will always
exist.
But, eventually Gods promise
will become permanent.
And, the more you comply
with Gods plan now, the easier your life now, will be.
