Isaiah 14:23ues

23 I will also make [suwm] it a possession [mowrash] for the bittern [qippowd], and pools ['agam] of water [mayim]: and I will sweep [tuw'] it with the besom [mat'ate'] of destruction [shamad], saith [na'um] the LORD [Yahovah] of hosts [tsaba'].  KJV-Interlinear

23 "I will also make it a possession for the hedgehog, and swamps of water, and I will sweep it with the broom of destruction," declares the Lord of hosts.  NASB

It, is a word that refers to Babylon. Babylon is a term that symbolizes the embodiment of Satan and evil.

The word bittern, refers to rodents, or wild life that lives in or near swamps or marshes. This can include anything from porcupines or hedgehogs, to long legged marsh birds.

The word besom, refers to a broad and wide broom, that sweeps everything in its path, completely away.

Isaiah continues the Lord’s description of the complete and total destruction and annihilation, in terms that render everything after the destruction, as uninhabitable.

And this completes with certainly, the total removal of Satan and his policies and his influence, with no residue whatsoever, from planet earth, from all of creation, and certainly from the human realm.

When Christ begins his millennial reign here on earth, it will begin without any contamination from philosophy or religion, or influence that was originated by Satan either directly or indirectly, and had been carried on throughout history up until this time of his removal.
