Despite the many warnings that the Bible puts before
us, as well as the obvious limitations that we have in life, not the least of
which are our physical health, or our short lifespan, when compared to the centuries
of history, people continue to disregard the word of God, by ignoring their
obligation to learn from the instruction of a daily study, and otherwise do not
take seriously the warnings that exist within the Bible ….

People do not
learn and do not grow in the Christian life, because they try to do things
their own way, totally ignoring God’s way of teaching ……
The overall subject of the book of Romans, is
salvation. Throughout these last several chapters, Paul has been comparing
grace, to works. And throughout chapter 6 and 7, Paul has been describing and
explaining the function of the Mosaic law, which function, most people simply
do not understand …..
Therefore, we know, which means, in truth, we have to
admit and concede, that the Mosaic law does not cause sin, is not the invention
of man, is not …..
The complaints of
the psalmist, are silenced. That is the meaning of the opening phrase, I was
dumb, or in other words, I was caused to be silent ……
