The spirit, is a reference to the spirit of God, often
times referred to as the Holy Ghost, or in more modern times referred to as the
Holy Spirit. This is a reference to the third person of the Trinity ….
The restoration of the earth flows from the Holy
Spirit, who is God. God is perfect justice and perfect righteousness. God is
truth. ….
There is great
blessing when you submit yourself to the instruction of the word of God, and
listen and learn and grow up in your spiritual life. There is great cursing
when you ignore or refuse instruction
……
This is one of the more abused passages, wherein
people attempt to shed their responsibility, by blaming something or someone
else for their own wrongdoing …..
Now remember that Paul is a Christian. He is a
believer in Jesus Christ. But he is also describing that the sin nature remains
within him, despite his Christian status …..
The Psalm
concludes with the petition, requesting God to look away. This is in regard to
redirecting His judgment or punishment elsewhere ……
