Isaiah 22:7

Isaiah 22:7ues

7 And it shall come to pass, that thy choicest [mibchar] valleys [`emeq] shall be full [male'] of chariots [rekeb], and the horsemen [parash] shall set [shiyth] themselves in array [shiyth] at the gate [sha`ar].  KJV-Interlinear

7 Then your choicest valleys were full of chariots, And the horsemen took up fixed positions at the gate.  NASB

Our dispensation is typically called the end times, as we are the last full dispensation before the Second Advent.  The end of days, or final days, are references to the final seven years, prior to the Second Advent, known as the Tribulation.

It is those final days to which these prophecies apply.

The Tribulation is the last seven years of the former dispensation known as the Age of Israel.  Our dispensation interrupted that dispensation and we have been going along for almost 2000 years now.  Of all of the human dispensations, ours is the longest.  Our dispensation will end with the Rapture and that is when the Age of Israel will resume, and finish its last and final seven years.

The Tribulation will be full or trouble and turmoil and will be the worst period for anyone to live in, in all of human history.

From the beginning of this final seven years, there will be trouble after trouble.  During the first three-and-a-half years, literally half of the worlds population will die because of all of the disasters, crime, government regulation, wars, starvation, disease, and so forth.

And yet, here we see that the residents of Jerusalem will still cherish their property, the choicest valleys, despite all of the turmoil that has been and will be, continuing in the world during that future time.

And near the end of the Tribulation, when armies are invading and encamped all around, the people will see their pride and possessions, occupied by armies that seek their destruction.

And those armies will not be moving in, in nice cars or recreational vehicles as vacationers, but they will be preceded by the most terrible destruction ever in history.

One would think that people would sit up and take notice long before this time.  But they don’t.

And just as people in our current day do not get with their daily study, do not sit up and take notice of the bigger picture for life, the same principle of observation and recognition about life and its meaning, apply now as they have always applied throughout history.

That future time will make it clear that it takes a huge disastrous state, before people see clearly, and even then, most folks still resist acknowledging God, Christ, doctrine, and their own future, and what it all means.

And so, most folks will skim over such passages as this, and won’t connect the dots of life, and will fail and will miss out on the greatest opportunity in all of creation.

One group that you should not want to be identified with, is such a failing group.

And so you can turn these truths into the greatest possible life for yourself, not only for now, but forever.
