Revelation 21:27

Copyright Ó 2011 J. Neely
Revelation 21:27

27 And [kai] there shall [eiserchomai] in no wise [ou me] enter [eiserchomai] into [eis] it [autos] any thing [pas] that defileth, [koinoo] neither [kai] whatsoever worketh [poieo] abomination, [bdelugma] or [kai] maketh a lie: [pseudos] but [ei me] they which are written [grapho] in [en] the Lamb's [arnion] book [biblion] of life. [zoe] KJV-Interlinear

27 and nothing unclean and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life. NASB

The arrogance, and therefore the sins, and therefore the evil of people will not exist in the new universe.

The arrogance, and therefore the sins, and therefore the evil of human leadership will not exist in the new universe.

The arrogance, and therefore the sins, and therefore the evil of nations, cultures, beliefs in general will not exist in the new universe.

Everyone who has rejected Christ, also, will be excluded from the new universe.  All unbelievers, Isa. 52:1, will be forever excluded from heaven.

Isa 52:1
52 Awake, awake, Clothe yourself in your strength, O Zion; Clothe yourself in your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city. For the uncircumcised and the unclean Will no more come into you. NASB

This now makes the circle complete.

As for believers, all of their sins, and human good, and opinions of evil, will be excluded.  Only truth will exist in the new universe.

As for unbelievers, then all unbelievers themselves, will be excluded.

The Book of Life, records the names of all saved people.  Unbelievers names are blotted out, Rev. 3:5, upon confirmation of their rejection of Christ.

The Book of Life, is a phrase that was originated with the practice of the ancients of keeping records of people, Neh 7:5,64; 12:22-23.  Often times records of people were maintained for various purposes, Jer 22:30; Ezek 13:9.

And so God is represented as keeping a record of all who are in His care, and those who leave His care, are blotted out from His records, Ex 32:32; Ps 69:28.

In the New Testament, the record of the righteous identifies those who will inherit eternal life, Phil 4:3; Rev 3:5; 13:8; 17:8; 21:27.

I was asked me recently about election and such matters.  And here it is.  Only those who by means of their free will faith in Chirst, will find their name recorded and not removed from the Book of Life.

At birth all names are recorded in the book (God does not predetermine those who will or will not believe), but upon death or some time certain, God blots out of the book, those who have not believed in Christ.  So it is your decision, not Gods, that determines your continued listing in the Book of Life or your removal.
