2 Peter 3:18

18 But [de] grow [auxano] in [en] grace [charis], and [kai] in the knowledge [gnosis] of our [hemon] Lord [kurios] and [kai] Saviour [soter] Jesus [Iesous] Christ [Christos]. To him [autos] be glory [doxa] both [kai] now [nun] and [kai] for [eis] ever [aion] [hemera]. Amen [amen]. KJV-Interlinear

18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen. NASB

Grow, means to increase to enlarge. Grace is the policy of God toward man. Knowledge consists of the facts and details of truth.

From these two things, grace and knowledge, comes the development of ones spiritual life.

From development comes application and from application comes understanding, and from understanding comes wisdom and from wisdom comes spiritual production of a mature believer.

The fulfillment of life comes from only one source – God. And God provides the written scriptures as the mechanism for sustaining our life. Grace provides His infinite patience.

So long as you are alive in this world, you have the opportunity for growth and success in your spiritual life.

It matters not whether you are currently on your deathbed, breathing means that your opportunities have not yet expired.

Far too many people will assume the martyr syndrome and believe that they have gone past the point of no return. Only stupid people will believe that.

There is nothing that God cannot accomplish. The circumstances of your life are no match for God.

God gives life and God removes it. God shortens life and God lengthens it. God generates prosperity and God can take it away.

Only fools focus on the details of this world and presume that they are the forces that rule their lives. They are not.

Only fools believe that the actions of man control the destiny of this world. They are not.

There is only one common thread that connects or determines success or failure in anything, and that is Bible doctrine.

Jesus Christ is the living word. Bible doctrine is the written Christ. Doctrine in you places Christ in you.

To Christ is the only glory, recognition, value and purpose which stands both now and forever. Bible doctrine is the basis of your success both now in this life and in eternity.

Amen means ‘Believe it.’ The real question is, ‘Do you?’
