Isaiah 14:7ues

7 The whole earth ['erets] is at rest [nuwach], and is quiet [shaqat]: they break forth [patsach] into singing [rinnah]. KJV-Interlinear

7 "The whole earth is at rest and is quiet; They break forth into shouts of joy.  NASB

The whole earth, is an expression that means everything without exception. In other words the entire planet.

At rest, means to settle down, to relax, to be peaceful, to sleep.

Quiet, means to lie in repose, to be idle, to cease activity, to settle, to be still.

Throughout all of human history the planet has been in continuous rumbling and stirring. There have been continual volcanoes and tsunamis and earthquakes and storms, even the continents are in a state of flux and movement.

In the final days of history, during the period called the tribulation, which will last only seven years, the state of instability and rumbling and turmoil for the planet will reach an all-time high.

In the final weeks and days of the tribulation immediately prior to and concurrent with the second advent of Christ, islands will sink away, mountains will fall, cities will be destroyed, hills will be laid waste, and civilization will virtually disappear.

After the second advent of Christ, a general state of peace and quiet will exist across the entire planet.

If you have ever observed the world around you in the springtime, when the grass is green and the flowers are blooming and the trees are budding out and colors are bursting forth all over the place. Then you might have a sense of how the world is going to recover and what things might look like when the millennial reign of Christ begins.

We have already studied how the very fabric of nature is going to change dramatically. The wildness of animals will be no more, even the health of individual people will improve dramatically. The entire geography of the world will be changed. The light of Christ will shine throughout the world twenty-four seven, for a thousand years. The environment will be perfect, and life in general will be virtually trouble-free.

When Christ comes to rule, then things in the world will change dramatically.

When Christ enters your soul, and becomes the ruler of your soul, then things in your world will change dramatically.

Christ is a living person, the living God, and the written word in scripture.

Today, as it has been throughout all of history, Christ becomes available inside of you, when you learn Bible doctrine.

You learn Bible doctrine through a daily study. That is the only way you learn doctrine. And that is the only way that you can bring Christ into your functional life.
