Psalm 25:13

Psalm 25:13

13 His soul [nephesh] shall dwell [luwn] at ease; [towb] and his seed [zera`] shall inherit [yarash] the earth. ['erets] KJV-Interlinear

13 His soul will abide in prosperity, And his descendants will inherit the land.  NASB

The believer that is advancing legitimately within their spiritual life, is the one who gains this rest and peace in their life.

But notice that it is the soul that possesses inner happiness, inner peace, a relaxed mental attitude, not the body.

Life will swirl around you as it has always swirled since time began.  It is full of trouble, full of anxieties, full of burdens galore, and life is never at ease.  There is always something or someone who is out to cause you trouble or suffering. Such is the nature of people and of this world.

But doctrine in the soul brings inner happiness and poise into your life, your real life, which is the real you, which is the life within your soul.

The world can cause trouble for your body and physical life, but the world cannot destroy your soul, unless you allow it.

What you think is what you are.  And if you bring doctrine into the forefront of your thoughts, then your reality will be phenomenal, regardless of the storms of life that will try to upset your life.  But you have to learn doctrine before you can think it.

Those who reject doctrine, who reject learning doctrine in a legitimate study process because pursuing a daily study is sooo tedious and boring, will never receive, will never gain, this inner peace of life.

Your seed, is a reference or those who come after, that are of a similar or exact type that you are.  This can refer to children, but in this case it is a reference to the pattern of thought that doctrine initiates and supports within your soul.  Therefore, everyone who advances in their spiritual life is of a similar seed, related in truth.

And, guess what you inherit?  Everything.

The spiritually mature, repeat, spiritually mature believer, is the heir of all that is.

The world represents the cosmos or the environment that surrounds us.  It is something that we have access to and it possesses the many things that we desire or need for life.  And to inherit the earth means to have everything.  And in this case, everything that is legitimate and worthy, and worth having.

All those who are indifferent to, or resistant to growing up as God defines spiritual growth, chase after what the world offers, but they will never have it.

Because no matter what you have in his world, whether money, possessions, and such, will always be external to the real you, and never a part of you.  Thus you will never be truly happy, never be content, never be satisfied.  You will never gain that which you pursue.

Learning bible doctrine is the only way, the only way, and again, the only way that you will ever obtain the real goals of life.
