Revelation 16:4
4 And [kai] the third [tritos] angel [aggelos] poured out [ekcheo] his [autos] vial [phiale] upon [eis] the rivers [potamos] and [kai] [eis] fountains [pege] of waters; [hudor] and [kai] they became [ginomai] blood. [haima] KJV-Interlinear
4 And the third angel poured out his bowl into the rivers and the springs of waters; and they became blood. NASB
When we studied the third trumpet in chapter eight, one-third of the fresh water supply was already ruined. So fresh water will have already been in short supply by the time this judgment strikes.
Now, God strikes all of the fresh water on the planet and renders it useless. Life will now indeed be miserable. No fresh water to drink, no fresh water for cooking, no fresh water for cleaning.
The clamps of pressure are quickly tightening around life on planet earth, and no one has any excuse for not knowing why this is all happening. Not a single person on the planet will be left unaffected. And likewise, not a single person on the planet will have an excuse as to why they cannot believe in Christ.
Remember that salvation and relief are only a simple thought of six words away, ‘Father I believe in Jesus Christ.’
Under the conditions being described, how could anyone be so stubborn as to continue rejecting Christ, and refuse to think those six simple words?
