11 Be glad [samach] in the LORD [Yahovah], and rejoice [giyl], ye righteous [tsaddiyq]: and shout [ranan] for joy, all ye that are upright [yashar] in heart [leb].  KJV-Interlinear

11 Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, O righteous, and shout for joy, all you upright in heart!  ESV

Who is glad?  Who rejoices?  Who shouts for joy?  All who are upright in heart.  Heart, ‘leb,’ refers to the pump or functioning action of ongoing doctrinal thinking throughout your soul.  And without learning of doctrine there is no thinking, and without thinking of doctrine there is no gladness, rejoicing, or shouts of happiness.

You have to learn doctrine in order to think it.  What you think is what you are. 

This is why the content of the scriptures hugely emphasizes the daily study and learning, leading to understanding and a spiritual pattern of life, leading to wisdom and the faith or power that is so important in ones life.

Even if you have studied for decades, it is important that you do not stop, that you never stop, because once stopped, then you can easily slide back into the old patterns of the sin nature, and lose what spiritual ground you have gained.

There is no finish line in this life. That comes when you move on to heaven and the next life.

The objective of this life is advancement to spiritual maturity.

Everything else that you do in this life, such as your daily job or career, or whatever it is that you do from day to day, serve as the logistics for making a living in this world, and add to your overall understanding of the responsibilities of life.

But your most important objective is to study Bible doctrine daily, and study in the correct way, namely from instruction, while in fellowship, and advance to spiritual maturity.

You will not have any measuring device, no gauge, nothing to tell you where you are within your spiritual life, except your hindsight and how you react or respond to the many things that can and will happen to you during your life.

The world will hurl enticements and compromises and distractions and troubles that are obvious and subtle, in order to get you to leave or skip your daily studies, and thus fail.

But, God has given us all a few minutes each day, to study, and God has given us all twenty-four hours a day to think.  That assumes that you do think.  So you have no excuse, even though you will try to find excuses for being too busy or too distracted or confident that you know it all, already.

In the end, your commitment or lack of it, will determine your success or failure.  And that will determine the genuineness and level of your inner happiness.  For genuine inner happiness accompanies spiritual maturity.

Babies look for help or for someone else to do things for them.  Adults seek out the answers that they need and pursue them until they find them and even then, keep on looking, never giving up, always moving forward.

Just as you grow up in life eating one meal at a time, advancing from one day to another day at a time, so too, the spiritual life comes from a steady daily diet of Bible doctrine.  Your read, you listen, you ponder, you think things through, and you live your life as unto the Lord.

God will keep you in this world until He is finished with you, and God gives everyone time to advance in their spiritual life, or show their commitment or lack of it, toward their daily study.

A long time ago we did a study on the story of your life, or your very own song.  I think that, that study is a part of the special studies library online.  Anyway, you have time to write your story in a way that will demonstrate your phenomenal life, and then present yourself to the Lord when you are called before Him.

10 Many are the sorrows of the wicked; But he who trusts in the Lord, lovingkindness shall surround him.   NASB

The single biggest contrast in all of creation, is between Gods grace and mans sorrow.  In your life you will be surrounded by one or the other, and your choice to pursue, or not pursue, your daily bible study will decide.

Trust, ‘batach,’ means a refuge wherein you place yourself within the environment designed by God, in order to be secure, to be safe, to be protected, to be prospered, to have a happy life with confidence and divine security, and far more.

Within Gods design you are surrounded, and not just on four sides but all around as though you were within a protective sphere.

Outside of Gods design, you are in sorrow.  There you have no hope, no future, no blessing per se.

Outside of Gods design is the residence of the wicked.  And wickedness is not restricted to ugly ghouls, but is the place of indifference and apathy and resistance and rejection of Gods truth.

Someday you will stand before Christ and He might well ask you to tell your story.  Will you say, ‘Well, I said amen a lot!’

Do you think that will impress Him?

Christ expects you to learn and know and grow in your spiritual life, so that you can reside in, and benefit from, His grace.

But of course, you can choose to reside in sorrow, which won’t earn you any points in life.

9 Do not be as the horse or as the mule which have no understanding, Whose trappings include bit and bridle to hold them in check, Otherwise they will not come near to you.   NASB

Israel has constantly been referred to as a stiff necked people, stubborn and resistant toward listening to and obeying the principles and mandates of God. And likewise so many people fail because they read just a little bit and go no further, resisting and not pursuing further, the teachings of doctrine.

And the comparison is made to horses and mules, and not tame animals, but wild ones, because they have a mind of their own, which is a mind that lacks human intellect and reason.

So, the animals have an excuse for their behavior.  It takes a bridle and bit to control them, for in the wild, their very nature is to run and evade capture, and not cooperate.  So they do only that which comes natural to them.

Man, on the other hand, has no excuse.  Man has intellect and reason.  Man can see the difference between right and wrong.  Man can decide to reject right for wrong, or wrong for right as the case may be.

But again, in his natural element, man is total depravity and will fail utterly, were it not for God and Gods grace provisions.

Man has to be taught right from wrong.  Man cannot discover those truths.  Man has to be taught truth, and from that develop understanding and wisdom.  Man cannot achieve understanding or wisdom on his own.

But with a spiritually negative attitude, man is no better than the wild horse or stubborn mule.  Today we have slang terms like calling someone a dog or dumb as a rock, which it is all of a similar meaning, and not too complimentary.

Refusal to learn or use common sense becomes the epitome of stubbornness and stupidity.

Granted there are many levels of intelligence in people in this world, and what some can understand, not too many others can achieve that level of understanding.

But in the spiritual life, God the Holy Spirit is the true instructor, and He makes truth clear and perspicuous to everyone regardless of their talents or handicaps.

So, no one has any excuse. 

But everyone does have an obligation to pursue truth in order to learn it and know it.  And this is determined by their own decision to want doctrine and to pursue it, or not.

Man has no excuse for not advancing in his spiritual life.  Only man can prevent himself from advancing.

When people call you names you can just ignore them because the names mean nothing.

But when God describes you with some derogatory term, then you really need to sit up and take notice!

Psalm 32:8

Why do people fail in life?  Because they pretend to be Christian, but refuse the mandatory requirements of learning doctrine through instruction.  You cannot know unless you learn and you cannot learn if you reject instruction.  And one day, we will all stand before Christ and those who learned nothing, will be embarrassed beyond belief.

I have been writing this daily study for many, many years.  There are now over 8000 individual daily studies on the Daily Bible Study web site.  I do this for the love of doctrine, but also so you can have an opportunity to improve and enhance and complete your life.

Far too many people are simply indifferent toward studying and learning.  And that is a sad thing, to have such a phenomenal opportunity to advance in life, but because of simple laziness, they spend their whole life going nowhere. 

That leaves a very small number that actually do take God and doctrine seriously and see its extreme value for their life.

I will instruct, ‘sakal,’ God teaches,  He trains, He provides the nuts and bolt details of learning by means of the written word.  But that learning does not come automatically or by wishes.  It comes through the academic process of daily instruction.

Bible doctrine is the food of the soul and food is to be eaten daily.

And teach, ‘yarah,’ means to teach repetitively as in the constant flowing of water.  Learning is an ongoing never ending process. There is no graduation, no end to the process, we are to learn and keep on learning throughout our entire life.

In the way, is a phrase that establishes the fundamental pattern of our daily life.  Our habit of dedicating some time, not much, but certainly some time each and everyday, so that we can learn the most important information that exists in all of creation, and then learning and living by what we learn throughout our entire life, are the most important of repetitive decisions that we can make in all of our life.

In life we will all fail from time to time, but it is ultimately the pattern of life that we pursue and demonstrate that decides our true dedication to faith, or lack of it.  Most people fail in this regard.  Their pattern is not daily study, but daily apathy toward learning, true and genuine learning.

And when confronted, the excuses come spinning out like they were in a tornado.

The teaching is here.  You just have to really want it. And when you want something bad enough then you figure out a way to get it.  Learning of God is no different.

And, it is God who evaluates you, not me, not people, so the excuses really fall on deaf ears when directed toward man.  Actually the excuses only serve to publicize ones failure.  Once you complain then everyone knows.

I will guide you, is the phrase that demonstrates Gods guidance for you in life, through that which you learn, namely Bible doctrine.

With my eye, means simply that, just as God watches over everything, so too doctrine in your soul, watches over your entire life.

And we need to add one more thing.

This verse is a part of the entire passage regarding fellowship.  Your spiritual life functions within the fellowship sphere.  That is where you learn.  That is where you grow.  That is where you live your life.

I post charts constantly and there are innumerable special studies, also, on the topic of confession and fellowship and the spiritual life.  To learn you have to want to learn.  And you have to want to avoid and actually stop, all of the pretending nonsense that so many people follow in life.

God has given phenomenal opportunity to everyone, to have a phenomenal life, both now and in eternity.

If you fail, then you have only your laziness to blame.

7 Thou art my hiding place; Thou dost preserve me from trouble; Thou dost surround me with songs of deliverance.  NASB

The context of this psalm is sin and confession, and what that does for the believer in Christ.  Sin creates a separation between a person and God.

For the unbeliever, sin is not the primary issue, whereas faith in Christ is what they need to contend with in order to be saved and begin a relationship with God.  Sin, for the unbeliever, has a tendency to drive a much greater barrier between them and their salvation decision.

For the believer in Christ, sin is an issue of functionality in their spiritual life.  Sin separates the believer from Gods presence, and from the function of their spiritual life.

Sin as a transgression, has already been paid for in full, by Christ when He went to the Cross.  But sin remains with us as long as we are living in this world, and it becomes a barrier and preventer, keeping us from growing up, and completing ourselves, spiritually.

Confession, places us in fellowship, which is the symbolic safe haven or refuge, protecting us from the corrupting influences of sin and this world.  This is a spiritual concept and principle, not a physical place.

We are still in this world and thus, subject to any and all of the problems that are in the world.

But remember that our spiritual life is not of this world, it is the activity of Gods Word, within our soul, while we are living within the safety of the fellowship sphere, that God has defined.

Therefore, the sphere of fellowship, is a hiding place, a place of safety and protection, from the negative influences and effects of sin, that sin has or can have, on the soul.

In Exodus, we saw how God surrounds us with a wall of fire, that symbolically represents Gods awesome power.

And here, we see that fellowship is a place that is surrounded by the beauty of the songs of the spiritual life.  Those songs or music are driven by Bible doctrine.

But of course you have to know doctrine, having it in your soul, because you have learned it, before you can enjoy that supernatural music of comfort.

The music is the relaxed mental attitude and poise and contentment, that is acquired through spiritual growth toward spiritual maturity.

Selah, is a word for grace, Gods grace.  As in, the music plays on.

Gods grace is infused throughout all of creation, and especially in the spiritually advancing and growing believer’s life.

For the believer who sticks with their daily study and begins to learn these principles and begins to put them together and understand how life is put together and what life is all about, then life, regardless of your circumstances, will become more and more tolerable.

And, you will begin to look more and more toward heaven, and less and less toward your problems.

6 Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to Thee in a time when Thou mayest be found; Surely in a flood of great waters they shall not reach him.  NASB

If you took the time to read and learn yesterday’s study, then these verses should now make more sense. The godly man is not someone who is pious, who is superficial, who does nothing more than pretend. 

The godly man is a term that identifies the individual who is in fellowship.  Sometimes we call this being in fellowship, being spiritual, being filled with the spirit, caught up in the spirit, or similar phrases.

Typically the term, ungodly, can refer to unbelievers, but can also refer to believers who are out of fellowship. The context of the passage usually dictates who is being identified. 

Believers who are out of fellowship are said to imitate unbelievers.  And this is in reference to their out of fellowship behavior with respect to God.  Unbelievers do not have any relationship with God, and believers who are out of fellowship are simply out of sync, off-line, not functioning in their spiritual relationship with God.  And thus the term imitate, with regard to the non-functioning spiritual aspect.

The time when God may be found, is anytime you are in fellowship.

God never goes on vacation, never steps out of the office, and is never unavailable.  But when your spiritual life is not functioning properly, which it does not when you are out of fellowship, also called in a carnal state, then God is unavailable, so to speak.  God does not interact with filth, and out of fellowship is a state of filth.

The floods of great waters, refers to all manner of trouble or distraction in this world regardless of their category or type.

Nothing can prevent the believer in fellowship, from having an active and functional relationship with God.

Remember, that your relationship depends on your state of thought, or your state of soul, it has nothing to do with your physical condition, or your interactions with people. The problems of this world will try to destroy your perception of God and therefore your relationship with God.  You can lose your job, your home, your health, your family, your anything.  But the things of this world are nothing more than the details of life, and they are all susceptible to removal.

The only thing that the world has no control over, is your soul.  It can try to influence your thinking by making life miserable or pleasant for distractions, but the bottom line is, you control your own soul, and your soul is led by the content that you put into it.  Bible doctrine is the very best content, and fellowship is the very best environment that makes it all work.

5 I acknowledged my sin to Thee, And my iniquity I did not hide; I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the Lord"; And Thou didst forgive the guilt of my sin.  NASB

The confession of sin is the integral and necessary component that determines whether your spiritual life will function properly or not.  Taught in the third and fourth Levitical offerings, and explained in the parable of the prodigal son, Lk. 15:18, and then described in 1 Jn. 1:9, and of course the mechanics are explained here in this verse.  This is the very first principle of Christianity that everyone should learn and understand, but unfortunately most Christians do not take the time to learn it, and even if they do have an inkling, they get it all mixed up. So, here is the explanation and why you need to know it.

When Adam was in the Garden, he committed the first sin of cognizance of humanity.  Eve committed the first sin, but she did so from deception due to her not listening to the teaching and warning of Christ, who walked with them in the Garden.

Her error was that she thought that even touching the fruit was forbidden, when touching was not even mentioned.  Next she failed to recognize that an animal, the serpent, was having a conversation with her, rather than mimicking words as a parrot would.  She simply was not paying attention.

Adam, on the other hand, saw that Eve ate the fruit and he made a decision right then and there to eat it as well, fully knowing what he was doing.

Thus the fall of humanity was on Adam, and thus it is stated, through Adam all have sinned.  And so the sin nature in mankind, is passed down through every generation through the male, not the female.

Now comes Mary, and then Jesus.

Joseph was not involved in her conception, and therefore Jesus was born without a sin nature.  Adam was created perfect, but failed, and Jesus was born perfect and of course succeeded all the way through the Cross.

No man has ever lived their entire life fulfilling the Mosaic Laws. Man is not capable of that.  The purpose of those Laws was to teach that man needed something else, someone else to save him.  No man is capable of living the perfect live and thereby satisfying God.  But Jesus did, thus fulfilling the Law, proving His perfect qualification for the Cross, and then of course He went to the Cross to fulfil the requirements of salvation for us all.

Salvation is necessary in order to eliminate the barrier that, that first sin placed between man and God.  Without a way back to God, which is through faith in Christ, then our destiny would be permanent separation from God, which is nothing more than oblivion, which we call the Lake of Fire.

In the work of the Cross, the penalty of sin was paid in full, however forgiveness was not fulfilled, because even after salvation, or that moment when you believed in Christ, you still have your life before you and you will inevitably commit sins.

The characteristic of sin is that it is compared to filth or dirt.  And when we get dirty, we have to wash it away in order to cleanse ourselves and make ourselves presentable.  We do this regularly and repetitiously, like washing our hands, or taking showers and so forth.

In the spiritual life we likewise have to cleanse ourselves in order to be in the presence of God.  No one can approach a king, when filthy.  You must be cleaned and properly attired.

Therefore, confession is necessary in order to cleanse the sin from our life.  This is symbolic, but is the process that God has decreed.  Ours is to obey and abide by His procedure and not attempt to do something else of our own invention.

Spiritual growth, or the spiritual life, functions when you are clean, not when you are dirty.  We call being clean, being in fellowship, and being dirty, being out of fellowship.

The mechanics of confession is this.

You name your sins to God the Father, and not to anyone else.  And that is it. ‘Father I did this and that and this and that, etc.’  This is nothing more than a list of your current sins.

Then, God forgives you of your sins, and of all unrighteousness (forgotten or unknown sins), and restores you back into fellowship.

Commit another sin and you are out of fellowship immediately and thus the need to confess the new sin, etc.  The cycle repeats itself depending on how obnoxious you happen to be.

Sooner or later, you will either give up confessing and live your life out of fellowship, and not have a functioning or meaningful spiritual life, or, you will develop some self-discipline, realize that your next responsibility is to pursue a daily bible study, also mandated by God, and thus learn and begin to grow up and develop your spiritual life.  Spiritual growth to spiritual maturity is the objective for your life, and your preparation for eternity, for reward, and so forth.

This then is when everything in your life will change for the better.

This is why the spiritual lives of most people, fail.

They never learn the purpose of confession, never use it, and never get on track with their daily study.  They just coast along in the fog of life and eventually complete their life as a wasted life, being nothing more than historical filler.

So, now you have to make the daily decision to dedicate your life, and study daily as required, or not.

Your entire future is in your hands.  God will not build His temple in filth.  Your believing that or pretending that, makes you the fool.

Every day, a study is written and provided online.  It is easily accessible to everyone in the entire world.

A few will decide to pursue that study as they would valuable treasure.  Most will have an excuse not to.

Which are you?  Which are you going to be?

If you want something bad enough, you will stop at nothing to seek it out, to find it, and to possess it.

Those who pretend usually just complain or whine or expect someone else to do things for them, or they are simply all talk and nothing more.

Your spiritual life is yours and yours alone.  No one else can grow it or do it for you.

So, what now? 

Perhaps you should go to the prayer wall, which is likewise convenient and say a prayer. Humm!

Perhaps you should go find another lesson and read it, and another, and another.  Humm!

What exactly is your life and your future worth to you?

Sin is any thought, action, or way of behaving, that goes against, rejects, ignores, indifference toward, or refuses, truth and the principles of truth. This includes not doing the things that are expected.

God has put in place, principles that allow a person to function in this world, that is saturated with sin or anti-truth practices.

For the world at large, there are the divine establishment principles such as volition, freedom, free enterprise, nationalism, marriage, family, authority and so forth.  These principles offset the evil policies of jungle law, slavery, socialism, alternative lifestyles, and so forth.

For every principle of truth, Satan has set up his own, opposite principle, designed to counter truth and destroy society.

And in the personal realm, the offset of the sin nature is the spiritual realm. The barrier dividing the two, is confession.

God set up for the individual, an environment for the soul.  When you are in fellowship, then you live within that good environment.  When you are outside of that environment and in the sin nature realm, then you are living within the pressure cooker of life.

The weight of life is burdensome.  The pressures of life are ever present.

Living under the sin nature, the descriptions given here, the moisture turned to drought, the hand heavy upon, both describe the burdens, the exasperations, the anxieties, and fears of life, for which there is no answer, no help, no future, no hope.

For the world has nothing to offer except more burden upon more burden.

Only Bible doctrine, offers hope and a light at the end of the tunnel.  The spiritual life and the growth that accompanies it, allow you to live within the evils of this world.

Being human and the nature of our physical self, means that we have to live within this devils world and we have to experience the many troubles that are always there, but the spiritual life gives us the resources to be able to handle and deal with those troubles, no matter what they are.

Not having a spiritual life, not pursuing it, means you are simply placing more burdens on yourself.  Your decision, your fault.

Having a functional spiritual life, does not eliminate the burdens of life, but you will be better able to sail through them with greater ease and poise.

3 When I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted away Through my groaning all day long.  NASB

One of the biggest sins, is the disregard of ones own sins, especially the sin of disregarding Gods mandates.  Sin has a deteriorating effect on both the soul and the body.  Ignoring it or disregarding it, perpetuates that effect. 

The soul builds up a scar tissue of sorts, when truth is rejected or not regularly taken into the soul.  This is called the hardness of heart.

Pharaoh is the principle example of this hardening attitude.

As the soul hardens or is closed over with the scar tissue of negative attitude, then it becomes darkened.  And when the soul is fully darkened over, then the light of truth is simply blocked out.

The spiritual life is a very serious business.  All that you do, or do not do, has an impact on your very essence.

And here the silence of not confessing ones sins, which is to say, the silence or disregard of accepting responsibility for ones own thoughts and actions, the attempt to ignore them, the attitude that they have no impact on your life, the attitude that you can do whatever, and get away with it, or even the sheer joy of pursuing a lasciviousness or ascetic attitude, has ramifications that are not good for you.

All day, means continuously.  When sin controls your life, and it does when there is no confession, then the cost of that control is great, it is deadly, and it is continuous.

You are controlled by either your sin nature or your spiritual nature, and confession is the barrier that divides the two.  You are in one or the other.  There is no in between, no third realm in which you can exist.

Sin is slavery.  The spiritual life is your only freedom.

The bones that wax old, is the loss of life, the loss of energy, the loss of ones self.

The roaring, is not literal yelling or crying, it is the soul and body together that scream out at the deterioration of life, a deterioration that is stopped only by the spiritual life.  Thus ignoring the spiritual side of your life, causes you to deteriorate in ways that you cannot see or measure, from moment to moment, and if it goes on too long, then even in your latter years, you lose the perspective of the realities of life.

You mix up facts.  You draw wrong conclusions.  You get so off course that you do not know where you are, where you have come from, or where you will end up.

And the very sad thing is, that each person does this to them self, through rejection or indifference toward truth, as they stubbornly refuse to listen or learn what is truth.

All debts of sin were settled at the Cross.  Therefore, God does not impute them again, to the individual.  There is no double jeopardy, no re-trying of guilt as far as the person is concerned.

Not imputed, means not assigned again.  The person is not charged again with the same crime, as it were.

All sins were paid for at the Cross.  None were left out.  None were overlooked. None were missed.

There is no sin that can be committed by a person that re-establishes guilt against that person, or anyone.

There is only one unpardonable decision, which is in itself not a sin, and that violation is rejection of Christ.  And when a person rejects Christ throughout their entire life, then God is gracious and allows them to retain that decision.  That means they are not going to be with God, ever.  The alternative is the Lake of Fire, or a place that is absent of Gods mercy and grace and blessing and provision and power.  They will be on their own, alone, powerless, empty of any and all contacts of every type.  A situation much, much worse that solitary confinement.

When Christ paid the price for sin, He purchased our freedom and paid all our debts with regard to sin and death.  We were redeemed.

He covered our filth, burying it deep into non-existence.

He set us apart from all the filth of the world, making our corruption, incorruptible.

He obliterated forever, all evidence and existence of sin as though it never existed.

And finally, all the deceit, all of the self-deception, all of the fraud, delusion, and pretense are gone.  And this opens up the door for pardon, for confession and therefore forgiveness.

The facts remain. You are a sinner and you commit sins.  Those facts did not change.  But God can establish a criteria whereby, His having paid for the debt, allows Him to pardon us and therefore forgive us.

As human beings, we have debts, in the form of sin.  This limits us greatly.

But Christ took all of those debt bills which we have and could never pay, and paid them off.  We are no longer in debt.  Who tries to pay a debt again after it has already been paid in full?  Only a fool.

Our crossing the line, our disobedience, our refusal to follow instructions, our filthy pattern of life, all of these things that relate to sin, are all paid off, in full and no longer apply to us.

There is however, one thing which was not paid at the Cross, and that was human good, or the idea of mans efforts to do the same thing that God did.

And when unbelievers reject Christ, they adopt a belief that they can get to heaven on their own and make themselves equal with God.  This, human works, is the ultimate basis for their eternal condemnation.  Their sins too, were paid, but they refuse to recognize that payment.  And this is the quintessence of stubborn stupidity.

How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered!   NASB

This, on the surface, is a very simple psalm.  It reveals some of the most dramatic principles regarding the four categories of evil, that are disclosed in the Bible. 

First, the word ‘Maschil,’ means instruction, or the giving of instruction with the highest priority, because it is the highest instruction dealing with the guilt of sin, and the phenomenal blessing from Gods provision in pardon, holiness, justification, and sanctification.

These first two verses introduce the concepts of transgression, sin, iniquity, and guile.  So they require a definition first.

Transgression, ‘pesha,’ the passing over of a boundary, doing that which is prohibited.

Sin, ‘chataah,’ the missing of a mark, not doing what is commanded, expresses sinfulness leading to sin in the future or the pattern of sin, thus causing transgression.

Iniquity, ‘avon,’ turning away from a proper course or situation, moral distortion, perversion, contrary to equity or justice.

Guile, ‘ramiyah,’ fraud, deceit, cleaverness, cunning, traschery.

These last two are mentioned in verse two, which we will cover tomorrow.

There are three methods of dealing with these evils.  The cures of evil are forgiving, covering, and not imputing.

Transgression, must be forgiven, ‘nasa,’ born away, i.e., by a mediated sacrifice, for bearing sin, or bearing away sin to something or someone else, for sin to be carried away or transferred to someplace else.

Sin, must be covered, ‘kacah,’ hidden from the sight. It is the odious and abominable, the putrid, the stench, and must be put out of sight, washed off, covered, removed and buried permanently.

Iniquity, must not be imputed, ‘chashab,’ must not be reckoned to ones account, not assigned, not recorded, not connected with.

Guile, must be annihilated from the soul, no guile, obliterated, defeated, routed, crushed, permanently destroyed.

Therefore for the person whose transgression is forgiven or carried away to somewhere else,

whose sin is buried, covered or hidden, God having cast it as a heavy weight into the depths of the sea,

whose iniquity and perversion is not assigned to his account,

and whose guile of the deceitful and desperately wicked heart, is annihilated, being emptied of sin

and filled with righteousness, is the happy person.

Only God can accomplish this solution, and Jesus Christ did just that.

To reject Christ is to pursue or align yourself with evil, and what would that make you?
