24 Faithful [pistos] is he that calleth [kaleo] you, [humas] who [hos] also [kai] will do [poieo] it. KJV-Interlinear
24 Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass. NASB
Faithful means true, authentic, real, exact, certain, and that is exactly what God is.
God the Father authored the divine plan. Jesus Christ executes that divine plan to the letter. The Holy Spirit sustains and discloses the details of the divine plan.
That plan looked down through the tunnel of time and saw all who would believe, to the last generation, and the plan will continue through history until that last generation is reached.
Through history, God has divided up segments of time, segments which have definite and distinct divisions. We call these segments or divisions of time, dispensations. This word you will never find in the scriptures, however, Paul has made them clear through the mystery doctrines he has taught.
God has a plan. God has a plan for human history and God has a plan specifically for you.
Just as history has had its unique and specific events and purposes, so too, God has a unique and specific purpose for you. Whether you fulfill that purpose, which God has laid out for you, depends entirely on your attitude toward your spiritual life.
God uses prepared believers, and leads them through His plan for their life. Your plan is the ultimate and best plan that you could never accomplish on your own, even if you lived a thousand lifetimes. And no matter what your circumstances, no matter what your handicaps, no matter what your advantages or disadvantages might be in life, nothing can prevent Gods plan from unfolding and fulfilling itself in your behalf, if you pursue your spiritual life in accordance with his will.
Through doctrine, God called you. Through doctrine, He is able to set you apart, to sanctify you. Through doctrine, God is able to accomplish anything.
The world depends on human power, on human ingenuity, on human technology, on human will, or an endless array of sensual experiences. God depends on only the words written within the scriptures, and your spiritual life which you cannot even see or detect. And there is no contest between the two (God and the world).
God has made you promises. The world has made you enticements. God is able to accomplish His, however, the world, despite all of its physical attributes, cannot accomplish its promises.
